The adapter offers advanced features such as 802.1Q VLANs, jumbo frames up to 15 KB, MSI/MSI-X, TCP/UDP offload, checksum offload and Direct Cache Access (DCA), which improve performance in multi-threaded environments. Its ability to create transmission queues (RSS, VMDq) makes it ideal for virtualisation systems. Cat6A or higher cables are required to achieve the full 10 Gb/s speed.
